I have been asked to upgrade a vSphere 5.0 installation to 5.1 (usually I would use the latest version, of course).
However, we have View installed, and I'm pretty sure it is some build of Horizon View 5.1 - and when I look at the product interoperability guide, it seems to suggest that View version 5.1 is compatible ONLY with vcenter 5.10a.but NOT U1.
Wow - I would hate to deploy that old of a version (and - is it even available to download anymore? I do notice that View version version 5.1.1 is the same as above, but that 5.1.2 is compatible with vcenter 5.1 U1
So - I think I can still download that.
Do I really have to upgrade this system to no more than U1? Also - how do I check to be sure what versions are installed?
AND - if the version of View needs to be upgraded - does anyone have a link to a "how to upgrade" process that is not the whole upgrade guide (ie, a condensed version - "be aware of this, upgrade this first, then this, then this" - kind of thing?)
