Presenting storage to my vm host.

Hi all,

I need help in building a lab:

My team and I have 4 esx host already loaded with vsphere 5.0.

• 2.4 TB of Datastore presented and well running.
• all running in a vcenter.

We are required to build our own vcenter and because we are a team we shouldn't import the 4 hosts above to our vcenter as this will impact the team.

I am setting up my cCenter on top of this:

• I deployed 2 vm (ESX hosts) running esx 5.0

My question is how can I use part of the 2.4 TB  as share datastore for my 2 esx host ?

I deployed vcenter server appliance(this is not my prefere way)  and import the host in the vcenter

but could not create vm because no datastore to select for vm files. how can I resolve this ?
